Thomas Craven (Mel Gibson) in addition to his duties as a detective for the Boston police, he is also a widower who raised his daughter Emma (Bojana Novakovic) from an early age. Without their mother, father and son lived very close to each other throughout their childhood. After graduating from college, Emma was recruited to work for the great company Northmoor. Craven only knew Northmoor as a space science instrument factory for the world. Then, suddenly one morning, the father witnessed the scene of his daughter being murdered on his doorstep, right in his arms. The death of his daughter hurt him very much, Craven sensed something mysterious and found out the reason for himself.
